1. Toremovethebackcover,pushaflatheadscrewdriverintotheslotat

thebottomofthetransmitter.Backcoverwillrelease(Seeimage1).

2. Beforemounting,chooseamount-
inglocationthatisnofurtherthan150
feetfromthechimeunitlocation.Place
pushbuttonwhereyouwouldliketo
mountandtestwiththechimeasclose
toitsfinallocationaspossible.Ifitworks,
continuewithmountingbutton.Ifitdoes
notwork,seeTROUBLESHOOTING.

3. Securethebackcovertothemount-

ingsurfacewiththe2x20mmscrews.

4. Pressfronthousingontobackcover.
5. Testoperations,ifchimedoesnot

work,seeTROUBLESHOOTING.

Troubleshooting

Ifthechimedoesnotwork:
1. Makesurepushbuttonswitchispresseddownandheldforatleast1

second.

2. Verifybatteryinstallationiscorrect,notingpolarity
3. Tryfreshbatteries.
4. Makesurechimeisnofurtherthan150feetawayfrompushbutton.
5. Ensurepushbuttonisnotmountedonmetal,nearmetalstuds,or

nearthefloor.

6. Tryanewlocationforthechime.
7. Presstherecessedresetbuttonlocatedonthebackofthechime.
8. IftheoutdoortemperatureisnotdisplayedontheChimedisplay,

removethebackcoverofthepush-buttonandpresstheresetbutton
locatedbelowthebatteries.

Functionalrangemaybeadverselyaffectedbyoneormoreofthefol-
lowingfactors:weather,radiofrequencyinterference,lowtransmitter
batteryandobstructionsbetweenthetransmitterandreceiver.

Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15oftheFCCrules.Operationissubject
tothefollowingtwoconditions:
(1) thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)thisdevice

mustacceptanyinterferencereceived,includinginterferencethat
maycauseundesiredoperation.

Installation Instructions

Required Tools: Small flat blade screwdriver and phillips screwdriver.

ThewirelessdoorchimeKithastwocomponents:

Chime (Receiver)

Chime Tune Setting

1. PresstheSELECTbuttonlocatedonthefrontofthechimetocyclethroughthe

32melodies.

2. Thelastmelodyplayedwillbesetasthechimetune.

12 Hour/24 Hour Time Mode Setting

1. PresstheSETbuttononcetoswitchbetween12hourand24hourtimemode.

Clock Setting

NOTE—Clockwillreturntonormalstatusifnobuttonsarepressedfor10seconds
1. Innormalstatus,pressandholdtheSETbuttonfor2secondstosetthetime

anddate.

2. PresstheUPandDOWNbuttonstosetthehour.PressSETtoconfirm.
3. PresstheUPandDOWNbuttonstosettheminutes.PressSETtoconfirm.

Wireless Temperature Information

Afterbatteriesareinstalled,ortheresetbuttonispressedonthebackofthereceiv-
er,thereceiverwillbeginsearchingforwirelessdatafor5minutes.Thepushbutton
willtransmittheoutdoortemperaturedatatothereceivereverytwominutes.The
LCDscreenwilldisplaytheoutdoortemperatureonthebottomrightandtheindoor
temperatureonthetopright.

Temperature Reading

1. ToselectCelsiusorFahrenheittemperaturereading,presstherecessedºC/ºF

buttononthebackoffthechime.

2. Innormaldisplay,presstheMEMbuttontoviewthemaximumandminimum

temperatures.

3. PressandholdMEMfor2secondstoerasethemax/mintemperaturedata.

Alarm Setting

NOTE:Twoalarmscanbesetforthismodule.Fromnormalstatus,pressingMODE
oncewillallowyoutoprogramAlarm1.Pressingmodeasecondtimewillallowto
beginprogrammingAlarm2.
1. Innormalstatus,presstheMODEbuttononce,thenpressandholdtheSETbut-

tonfor2secondstosetAlarm1.

2. PresstheUPandDownbuttonstosetthehour.PressSETtoconfirm.
3. PresstheUPandDownbuttonstosettheminutes.PressSETtoconfirm.
4. Innormalstatus,presstheMODEbuttontwice,thenpressandholdtheSET

buttonfor2secondstosetAlarm2.Repeatsteps2through3tosetthehour
andminutes.

Toactivate/deactivatethealarm:
1. Innormalstatus,presstheUPbuttontoactivateAlarm1.Abellwitha1will

appear( ).

2. PressUPagaintoactivejustAlarm2.Abellwitha2willappear( ).
3. PressUPathirdtimetoactiveAlarm1andAlarm2.Bothbelliconswillappear.
4. PressUPonelasttimetodeactivatebothalarms.

Bothbelliconswilldisappear.

Toturnoffthesoundingalarm:
1. Pressanybutton(MODE,SET,UP,DOWN,MEM)toturnoffthealarm.

Push Button Mounting Instructions

Note:Avoidmountingonmetalsurfaces,asitmayresultinareducedrangeof
transmission.Donotmountinanareaexposedtodirectrain.Pushbuttonsare
typicallymountedatthesameheightasthedoorknoborhandle(between36”and
44”abovethefloor).
