IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT DESTROY

DANGER: TO REDUCE RISKS OF BURNS, ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, AND PERSONAL 

INJURY, THIS PRODUCT MUST BE USED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.  READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

2.  DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING.

3.  DO NOT USE ON AN INFANT OR ON AN ANIMAL.

4.  THIS PAD IS NOT TO BE USED ON OR BY AN INVALID, A SLEEPING 

OR UNCONSCIOUS PERSON, A PERSON WITH DIABETES, 

OR A PERSON WITH POOR BLOOD CIRCULATION.

5.  DO NOT USE ON AREAS OF INSENSITIVE SKIN.

6.  BURNS CAN OCCUR REGARDLESS OF CONTROL SETTING. 

CHECK SKIN UNDER PAD FREQUENTLY.

7.  DO NOT USE IN AN OXYGEN ATMOSPHERE.

8.  DO NOT USE PINS OR OTHER METALLIC MEANS 

TO FASTEN THIS PAD IN PLACE.

9.  DO NOT BUNCH, SIT ON OR AGAINST OR CRUSH PAD-AVOID SHARP FOLDS.

10.  NEVER PULL THIS PAD BY THE SUPPLY CORD.

11.  DO NOT USE THE CORD AS A HANDLE.

12.  THIS UNIT SHOULD NOT BE USED BY CHILDREN 

WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION.

13.  PLACE PAD ON TOP OF AND NOT UNDER THE 

PART OF THE BODY NEEDING HEAT.

14.  USE THIS PAD ONLY ON A 110-120 VOLT AC 

CIRCUIT. UNPLUG WHEN NOT IN USE.

15.  DO NOT TAMPER WITH THIS PAD IN ANY WAY. 

16.  THERE ARE NO USER-SERVICEABLE PARTS. IF FOR ANY 

REASON THIS PAD DOES NOT FUNCTION SATISFACTORILY, SEE 

WARRANTY FOR CONSUMER SERVICE INFORMATION.

17.  DO NOT USE THIS PAD WITH LINIMENT, SALVE OR OINTMENT 

PREPARATIONS, ESPECIALLY ONES THAT CONTAIN HEAT-

PRODUCING INGREDIENTS. SKIN BURNS COULD RESULT.

18.  DO NOT BEND OR PINCH CORD AND DO NOT USE IF CORD IS DAMAGED.

19.  NEVER LEAVE THE APPLIANCE UNATTENDED, 

ESPECIALLY IF CHILDREN ARE PRESENT.

20.  LOOP CORD LOOSELY WHEN STORING. TIGHT WRAPPING 

MAY DAMAGE CORD AND INTERNAL PARTS.

21.  WHEN NOT IN USE, STORE THE HEATING PAD IN THE 

ORIGINAL PACKAGING, IN A DARK, COOL, DRY PLACE.

HOW TO USE YOUR HEATING PAD

Make sure Control Connector is securely attached to the Pad 

Connector (Figure 1). Push both parts together for a tight fit. 

NOTE: control must be connected to heating 

pad before plugging unit into outlet.

1.  After control is connected to pad, plug 

into 120V AC electrical outlet. 

Your Sunbeam heating pad features XpressHeat. With this 

unique fast-heat technology, you wil  feel heat in 30 seconds 

– for faster pain relief! 

2.  To turn the pad on, press the Power Button. Then select 

from 6 heat settings by scrol ing to the desired setting 

with HEAT or HEAT buttons. The light ring around the 

controls, cal ed the Heat Meter, wil  light up one 

side at the time, indicating progress as the pad 

heats up. Al  four sides of the Heat Meter wil  light 

up within 30 seconds of powering up, indicating 

that the heating pad is warm and ready for use.

3.  To turn the pad OFF, press the Power 

Button one more time. The heating pad and 

lights of the Heat Meter wil  turn off. 

4.  DO NOT SIT ON OR AGAINST OR CRUSH 

PAD – AVOID FOLDING DURING USE.

5.  DO NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING.

5-Year Limited WarrantY

Sunbeam  Products,  Inc.  doing  business  as  Jarden  Consumer  Solutions  or  if  in  Canada,  Sunbeam  Corporation  (Canada)  Limited  doing 

business as Jarden Consumer Solutions (collectively “JCS”) warrants that for a period of five years from the date of purchase, this product 

will be free from defects in material and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component of the product 

found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the 

product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. 

Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty. This warranty 

is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof 

of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not have the 

right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or 

damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the 

operating instructions, disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service center. Further, the warranty 

does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?

JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory warranty or 

condition. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular 

purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.

JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise. JCS shall not be liable for any 

damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product including incidental, special, consequential 

or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser 

by any other party. Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages 

or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you 

specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from province to province, state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT DRY CLEAN! DO NOT BLEACH! DO NOT USE WRINGER FOR DETACHABLE PAD!

1.  Disconnect pad from outlet.

2.  Detach Pad Connector from the Control Connector.

3.  Wash by hand or as follows in an automatic washer using slow agitation 

and normal spin speed: Fil  washer with warm water. Add minimum amount 

of al -purpose detergent, agitate to dissolve, measure heating pad before 

washing. Add heating pad and soak five minutes. Agitate two minutes. Spin. 

Fil  for cool rinse, agitate one minute then spin. Dry in automatic dryer on high 

heat, five minutes only, or line dry. Remove damp heating pad from dryer, block 

to original size, and drape to finish drying. Do not iron your heating pad.

4.  Do not plug in pad and pad connector until they are completely dry.

AUTO-OFF FEATURE

Your heating pad control er includes a selectable Auto-Off feature. By pressing the 

“Auto Off” button, you can set the timer to “Stay On” continuously or to shut down 

after 2 hours of continuous use. NOTE: After a power outage, the Auto-Off feature 

automatical y resets the timer.

USING MOIST HEAT THERAPY

In some cases, you may find that moist heat therapy provides 

more comfort and relief. 

When using moist heat therapy, you 

should protect furniture and clothing from becoming damp. 

1.  Dampen either side of the heating pad with water by patting 

the surface with a wet sponge or cloth or use a spray 

bottle to apply a fine mist. Do not thoroughly soak pad. 

2.  Do not spray or dampen the pad connector. (Figure 3)
DANGER: Do not immerse the pad or wiring in water or place under 

running water. Failure to comply may result in product failure and/or personal injury.
NOTE: The electrical pad connector must be thoroughly dry before establishing 

electrical connection.
